Congratulations on transferring to Wayne State University Law School! If you are interested in joining the Wayne Law Review in your 2L year, it is important to start your application early to ensure your submission is as strong as possible and that you can be properly considered for one of the few spots held in reserve for transfer students. Importantly, we do not expect perfection—only your best effort.
General Overview
This application is the only opportunity to become a member of the Wayne Law Review. The application will be composed of four portions: a statement of interest, a statement on inclusive excellence, a portion of your 1L trial brief or equivalent 1L writing, and a Bluebook test and textual edit.
Wayne Law Review does not participate in any grade on, and does not do a traditional write on. Applications must not include any indications of GPA or any other academic honors.
